Inverdunning completed the purchase of one of North Ayrshire’s most prestigious Clyde side sites in the picturesque village of Skelmorlie in 2018. The 2.37 acre site was previously used as a nursing home but after the demise of the nursing home business the buildings where vandalized and subject to fire leading to demolition. The site had lain vacant and unused for some 10 years until Inverdunning managed to secure its purchase.

The site had a number of development constraints but over an 18 month period Inverdunning managed to work with North Ayrshire Council to unlock the challenges and complete a planning consent consisting of 36 luxury apartments and one house (plans attached). The development benefits from unrestricted shore front views and a private beach together with close proximity to local amenities and transport hub (train station, bus, ferry terminal) only a few hundred yards away.

Inverdunning have managed to secure a development partner in Ogilvie Homes to deliver the luxury apartments and work started on site September 2019. The full development was sold from plan within a few months and the final units handed over on an incredibly successful site in 2021.
